Clarity

“Those of us who manage the public’s dollars will be held to account – to spend wisely, reform bad habits, and do our business in the light of day – because only then can we restore the vital trust between a people and their government.”
President Barack H. Obama, January 20th 2009.

It’s simple: if there’s no transparency of government, there can be no trust.
I have decided to be clear..about who I am, about what I want and about my plans to get it!I am always running late, flying out the door, and never looking at myself. WELL did i just get a big surprise, Prestive events magazine had put me as number 8 on there top 40 under 40 with a photo of my face on David B’s bdy in the now infamous armani underwear shot and I look good! But when a client just came to meet me, and the only image of me they had was that shot…I could see the dissapointment instantly! Oprah says turning 50 felt fantastic, as did 51 and 52. After celebrating her 53rd birthday, she began having health problems.

“I couldn’t sleep at night. I started to have heart palpitations and some leg swelling,” she says. “My doctor said, ‘You need to get off of salt.’ And I instinctively knew that it wasn’t salt, and so I went from that doctor to another doctor to another doctor. By the time I’d been to the fourth doctor, I was on heart medication, I was on blood pressure medication and [medication] for heart palpitations.”

Doctors didn’t recognize that Oprah had a thyroid problem…but the viewers did. “Nobody showed me the e-mails until I started talking about this, but I had e-mails from viewers saying, ‘Tell Oprah to check her thyroid because I think she has a thyroid problem,’” she says.

When she was finally diagnosed with hypothyroidism, Oprah says she fell off the weight loss wagon. “It was a fat sentence because I thought, ‘Well, now it doesn’t matter. I’ve got a thyroid problem. If I don’t embrace hunger, everything I eat is going to make me fat anyway, and my metabolism isn’t working, so I might as well just eat whatever I want. Okay. Fat wins,’” she says. “I felt completely defeated.”
Over the years, I have spoken candidly about bouncing from one diet to the next, emotional eating and my drug of choice—potato chips and chocolate with Champagne. In 2008 I was in amazing shape and training twice a day, But that was all before I became successful. I celebrated my 70-pound weight loss by going out with pals and family and eating that weight in Nachos and cheese. It is called the Heathrow injection by other antipodeans.A metaphor for the weight one inevitably gains when one migrates to London for an extended stay. I have had a few jabs, was my fathers words on my recent trip home. One of the simplest ways to find out if you’re a healthy weight is to take the tape test. Storing fat around your middle increases the likelihood of developing heart disease, high blood pressure and stroke, and measuring your waist will show if you are at higher risk. I have just done that. God help me, God help us all, I am clinically obese..How did this happen? To me and again, are the questions I just cant get out of my head!!!VBut what about my BMI, i mean I am 6ft, maybe its ok. 30..is the result.BMI over 30: you are obese and definitely need to lose weight as your health is at risk…was the words I heard.Ok, I have done this before…The healthiest way to lose weight is neither crash diets nor bursts of exercise. The body likes slow changes in terms of food and exercise.

For example, someone who has not exercised for years should not rush into running miles a day or pounding the treadmill. Not only will the struggle to do so leave you feeling disheartened and demotivated, you’re also far more likely to injure yourself and set your fitness levels back further.

The same goes for people who suddenly start starving themselves. Diets that severely restrict calories or the types of food ‘allowed’ can lead you to be deficient in the nutrients and vitamins that your body needs.

So if you need to lose weight, what should you do or I for that matter? To lose weight, you need to get your body to use up these stores of fat. The most effective way to do this is to:reduce the amount of calories you eat and increase your levels of activity.its that simple, no davinci code or translator needed. But with my schedule? this week alone I have a whiskey tasting and the Scottish film festivel pre party and a party for a top computer game company to celebrate there launch and the comedian Peter Keegan on saturday, aaaaaaaagh.
Ok, 1st step, tonight I but only healthy food for the week and I join a gym.Can i even find the time to do this? stay tuned folks!! this could be interesting
