Lord Jason Scott Director of Events at Penthouse London is leaving the venue after four years to join the highly creative catering and events specialist Nomad Food and Design.

(Use your imagination and pretend this is voiced by Morgan Freeman) .

Scott is leaving the popular Leicester Square venue after four years to work with Nomad Food and Design, where he has taken up the role as Marketing and Events Director.

Nomad has been operating in the UK for over 6 years; servicing the corporate, luxury goods, fashion and private events markets.  Their sister company based in Liege, Paris has the reputation of being the ‘go to’ caterer for high-end, contemporary catering solutions and has recently merged with French events giant Eurosites Group, www.eurosites-events.com.

Jason commented:

“I’ve worked hard over the last few years to develop the events business at Penthouse and despite the recession they have seen a significant year on year increase in business from all sectors of the industry.  Penthouse is in a very strong position with a fantastic team to keep it going long after I am gone.  Although I am going to miss the team, I am very much looking forward to working with Nomad and have long admired their unique and creative approach to catering and event design.”

In his new role Jason will be building on Nomad’s broad client base and helping to bring their exquisite catering solutions to his long standing industry contacts.  Well known for his online and industry persona ‘Lord Jason Scott’ he contributes regularly with many blog, twitter and other social media posts.

Owner of Nomad Food and Design, Philppe Martin, said of the appointment:

“Just about everybody in the industry has heard of Jason, either as a great event and client account manager or through his ‘Lord Jason Scott’ social Media contributions.  We are very pleased to have him on board and look forward to developing the business with him.”

Editors Notes:

Martin Philippe created Nomad Food & Design in Paris in 1999.  Nomad are one of the select few caterers to provide services at Arc de Triomphe , Centre Pompidou and Musee d’ Orsay , with a client list which includes Dior, Givenchy, Cartier and Valentino.

Nomad London followed in 2005 and is at the forefront of contemporary food design.  They strive to echo a client company’s values and communicate that brand, message or identity with stunning cutting edge food design.

Eurosites Events (www.eurosites-events.com), own a number of spectacular venues in France and Paris as well as technical support, business services and catering companies.

As a farewell I have created a small video of my time at The Penthouse London here : Happy viewing :
